Once you have chosen the area in Spain where you want to buy your property, and decided on the type of property that fits your budget, the next step is to find properties that match your requirements.

Today, the internet is the fast and cost effective method to search for properties. But it can also be a frustrating experience.

Some don't work in the areas where they sell properties and so are not knowledgeable about the local real estate markets and locations. Inspection Visits

Once you have found a suitable property and a reputable company, you should book an Inspection Visit. We offer subsidised Inspection Visits that usually last for 3 or 4 days and include flights, hotel accommodation and airport transfers. Three or four days is sufficient to view a range of suitable properties, explore the surrounding areas, get an idea of local amenities and facilities, ask any questions you may have and secure a property by putting down a deposit.

However, we will advise you that Spanish property can sell very quickly so you must be prepared to act quickly when you see a property you like.

When you see the property of your dreams you can reserve it immediately by paying a deposit in Euros. You should bring with you a deposit of 3,000 Euros (about Ł2,100). This should be in cash or credit card (please note that there is a bank charge of 3% for transactions through a credit card and you should inform your bank prior to arriving in Spain).
